About Sara Blue
Sara Blue, Owner
Sara Blue has over a decade of experience implementing multifaceted traditional and non-traditional local and national marketing and communications campaigns. By integrating all types of media and word-of-mouth tactics into campaigns, she focuses on getting clients above and beyond their targeted return on investment.
Most recently Sara formed Blue Integrated Communications LLC. where she focuses on achieving client goals through creative and multifaceted campaigns. Before owning her own company Sara worked on Blockbuster’s marketing team where she oversaw communications, social media and marketing for over 850 stores. Sara worked on over 35 marketing campaigns and helped launch Blockbuster’s mobile initiatives.
Prior to Blockbuster, Sara’s career was focused at the agency level, where she ran the offices of Allied, Terry Hines and Associates and Wodell, working on publicity, promotions and events for entertainment clients including movie studios (Disney, Universal, Sony and many more), TV networks (NBC and TNT) and movie theatres (Regency Theatres and Colorado Cinemas). Sara also worked on a retail clothing and restaurant accounts. She oversaw dozens of accounts and staff. Sara created and grew the agencies’ mobile and social platforms and allowed the agencies and clients to form mutually exclusive partnerships benefiting both parties. Before the entertainment agencies Sara started her marketing career managing marketing and partnership relations at ClickData.com, a business lead list generator.
Sara graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Minor in Psychology and Art from Bucknell University. She enjoys any challenge where she can use her creativity and skills to strategically develop and implement fresh, innovative and cost effective campaigns.
When Sara isn’t working she’s spending time with her three children and husband, working to improve her tennis game and volunteering.
